NIR on Baldhead Island

I recently had my old Digital Rebel converted from a camera sensitive to visible light to a camera sensitive to near infrared light (NIR). I took it along on a recent trip to Bald Head Island. If you're interested, most of these images are "false color" infrared images, which simply means that I've skewed the white balance and then reversed the red and blue channels. This helps ground the surreal image in a bit of reality (otherwise the sky would be red!). I'm still experimenting, but so far I've been very pleased with the conversion (thanks Life Pixel!).
