Music

I'm a big fan of independent music, and I would much rather watch live music in a small quiet venue than at a huge concert. At least five friends from my time at NC State are pursuing music:

• Kyler England is a singer-songwriter currently living in LA
• Laura, Kyler's twin sister, is singing with the Mud Angels in Madison, WI
• Taylor Roberts and Mark Nippert are two thirds of glorydive, Raleigh, NC
• Kevin Neal (easily one of the best drummers I ever had the privilege of playing with) is now playing with The Consequences in Seattle, WA

Other favorites:

• Beth Wood is a wonderful folk/country singer from Texas


• Lalo is a fantastic (!!!) vibe player in NYC


• A new favorite is The Devil Makes Three
